How is the best way to do a similar stamp in Affinity Designer? I have tried the Ellipse Tool but unsure how I can get the Arc that I can then  get text to follow path correctly.

The Ellipse Tool creates a shape without any corners. I suggest you try the Crescent Tool instead.

- 2 ellipses
- géométrie : intersection
- sélection des noeuds et séparer les courbes
- placer le texte et régler.

Bonjour @fitzj
Créer le premier tracé avec la plume.
Dupliquer le tracer.
Faire une symétrie sur l'axe horizontal.
Avec l'outil Nœuds, sélectionner les deux nœuds et relier la courbe.
Faire la même opération en bas.
Dupliquer la courbe.
Adapter le tracé (utiliser ctrl pour déplacement symétrique de deux nœuds opposés).
Sélectionner les deux tracés et maintenir la touche alt et sélectionner Xor dans la géométrie (crée un tracer composé-transparent).
Déplacer le tracé, remettre l’opacité du modèle à 100 %.
Avec l'outil remplissage, appliquer un dégradé linéaire, clic maintenu en haut, relâché en bas.
Sélectionner le premier point du dégradé, maintenir la touche alt et cliquer sur le doré en haut du modèle pour copier la couleur et l'appliquer au point sélectionne.
Ajouter un nouveau point sur le dégradé et copier de nouveau la couleur avec alt.
Effectuer la même opération sur la totalité du dégradé.
Modifier les positions des dégradés pour obtenir le résultat visuel souhaité.
Et voilà !

Create the first line with the pen.
Duplicate the curve.
Make a symmetry on the horizontal axis.
With the Nodes tool, select the two nodes and connect the curve.
Do the same operation at the bottom.
Duplicate the curve.
Adapt the curve (use ctrl to move two opposite nodes symmetrically).
Select the two paths and hold down the alt key and select Xor in the geometry (creates a compound-transparent path).
Move the trace, reset the opacity of the model to 100%.
Using the fill tool, apply a linear gradient, click and hold at the top, release at the bottom.
Select the first point of the gradient, hold the alt key and click on the gold at the top of the model to copy the colour and apply it to the selected point.
Add a new point on the gradient and copy the colour again with alt.
Do the same for the entire gradient.
Change the positions of the gradients to obtain the desired visual result.
That's it!
