alnes Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 (edited) Hello, ive a little problem. im new to Affinity Designer, and at the moment i want to put 3 images to one and export it. But, i dont know why, there are always these white object edges ? Any idea how i can hide them ? If i move the right/left piece only 0.1px to the mittle section, it overlaps..... thanks matze Edited August 6, 2021 by alnes Quote

You can draw this as a rounded rectangle then modify it. The attached file contains the history so you can see what I did, goood luck HalfRoundedRectangle.afphoto Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
PixelPest Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Is there a reason why you built this shape from 3 parts? And there´s the Rounded Rectangle object if you like it as 1 parametric shape: Quote
alnes Posted August 6, 2021 Author Posted August 6, 2021 Hey, thanks for your answers 🙂 In this easy case i can shure build the shape by my own. But if i have complex images....there is no way to hide these edge ? uhm. If i build 2 rectangles there is the same problem: Shure, i can but i cant use this tools with an image. matze Quote
iconoclast Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Hi Matze, it's the same to me. But I'm not sure if there is really a gap between those rectangles or it is only a view feature or a bug or something, because if I zoom in, the white line doesn't get thicker. In fact as I exported the document as a PNG, there wasn't this white line visible. Might be an intended feature to make the user see where the objects he created end. Quote
PixelPest Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Practically you can´t get rid of this anti aliasing transitions without hacks like double, triple the objects. From my experience even Force pixel alignment in the snapping options won´t prevent the gaps from appearing in exported files. Quote
alnes Posted August 6, 2021 Author Posted August 6, 2021 mh crazy 😁 A problem is this (for me) just with transparent images...so ive to deal with it. thx @All Quote
alnes Posted December 23, 2021 Author Posted December 23, 2021 Hello 🙂 Is there anything news here? I work with tiles at the moment, and have same problems as in the past... At the moment I have to move each picture manually by one pixel ... Then the lines are no longer visible. thanks matze PS: Okay: As a hotfix: After positioning the tile, simply use the arrow key to move it by 1 pixel. That's okay in terms of the time it takes Quote
