The short answer is because the book can't send anything to your computer. All it can do is explain how you can download the resources, which it does at the beginning of the book in the "Get The Most Out Of This Workbook" section. (Look for a heading titled "Project Resources.") Also, there are so many GB of resource files available that a lot of users would not have enough disk space to store more than a fraction of them at any one time, so just downloading whatever is needed for the current project & then deleting those resources after the project is completed before starting to the next one is something worth considering unless you have tons of free disk space on your system. zaflemos Posted June 2, 2021 Author Posted June 2, 2021 The reason why I am in these forum cause I cant download the resources being explained 2 days ago. If I had access to those resources I wont be here. For some reason I always end up to the affinity customer service. Anybody who bought the book should have instructions or link to the download accompanying the receipt that they receive the payment. It only take a second for those people to type in the link. Anyway, I would like to thank again to PaulEC , for the link in these forum and make my life easier. I checked again the link: https://affin.co/photocoreskills and is working fine. Wonder why I cant get thru 2 days ago. Maybe it just me and my newbie. Well the book is great and I am already on page 172. People should buy this book. Unfortunately it cost more than the software.. If I had access to those resources I wont be here. For some reason I always end up to the affinity customer service. But you never said you couldn't download them. From the wording of your first post in this topic it seemed you did not know how to download them, not that you knew how but it was not working. If you had said it was not working you would have gotten a different kind of answer But it is good that you have it working now, and thanks for letting us know. walt.farrell Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 It would have pointed out some of the typical ways users fail to follow the instructions on the book. If you search the forums for "workbook resources" (without the quotes) you'll probably find some. The two most common ones are not typing a resource URL exactly as it appears in the book (like typing "afinco" instead of "affin.co") & choosing a search result in the list suggested by the browser instead of going to the web page directly (usually by pressing return or enter immediately after typing the complete URL). The second one is probably the most common mistake, maybe because modern browsers combine the search & URL entry features into the same field.
