[FAQ] How do I download Workbook resources?

The resource files included in the Affinity workbooks are zipped up folders so the first thing you will need to do once you have downloaded the files is right click them and hit unzip or extract. You should now notice a new folder has appeared in the location you have the zipped file stored, this will contain all of the assets needed for you to follow the chapter you are working on. If you are having difficulty downloading the files please note that the web address for the files has to be written in the same format as the below examples. The link will always be http://affin.co/(insert chapter file name here).

Affinity Publisher Workbook Resources

Here is one specific example of the links you will find printed in the Affinity Publisher Workbook, on the pages listed below.

Resources are slightly different for Affinity Publishers' workbook - instead of downloading directly to your computer, the affin.co links will add the workbook resource to your Affinity account, where you can then download/access this resource by signing into your Affinity account at the below link -

For example, if you visit the below link for PublisherCoreSkills, you will see the option to login/create an Affinity account.
Follow these steps and once signed into your account you will see an option called 'Get My Download Link' at the bottom of the page.
Select this and you will find a download button is then available. Repeat this process for any of the resources that you are wanting to download.

If you're still struggling to find the resources download links, please follow the screenshot below as an example of how the download links appear at the start of each chapter of both books in both languages. The link provides a zip file that contains the resources for the whole chapter:

Once you've found the URLs type them into the browser directly and not into a search engine like Bing, Google etc... (which will find nothing).
