Hi folks, I want to improve my selections in the Quickmask, which also works. What does not work in the current Mac (intel) version (1.9.3), however, is switching from overlay mode to the display mask black, display mask white and display mask transparent. There is no problem in the Windows environment. Does anyone know a solution for this?

The current Mac OS is 10.14.6 (MacBookPro 15" 2015 Retina) and 10.15.7 (MacPro 2013).

Thanks a lot

It might be helpful I you can describe “what does not work” rather than just saying it (a video would also be useful).

Well, from what Andreas wrote i interpret that the "Show Mask As ..." does not show the expected result based on to the selected mode, but stays "As Overlay".

I'm on Windows & iPad only and cannot check myself.

Hi @Andreas Berlin,

Unfortunately isn't much you can do until the bug is fixed if you need to use the other modes

Although this is a known issue, I believe that if you enable the Quick Mask, then change the preview style, disable and re-enable the Quick mask once again and you should now hopefully find the preview style has updated :)

Thanks for letting me know and I'm sorry to hear this!

I unfortunately don't personally have access to Mojave/Catalina so I will have our QA team investigate this further and report back to our developers.

My apologies for any inconveniences caused here.

For the record, here's my report from a month ago:

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

For the record, that does not work for me either, running Catalina on my iMac.
