Status bar in Separated Mode

Recommended Posts

1) Switch into Separated Mode

2) Open a document or create a new one.

3) Select the Paint Mixer Brush.

4) Drag the document window so the status bar disappears at the bottom of the screen.

5) Drag the window back so the bottom is in view.

6) Status bar info, shortcuts etc are not re-drawn.

7) Choose another tool, then switch back to Paint Mixer Brush. Shortcuts are now displayed.

I don't seem to be able to edit posts in this sub-forum but just to add: neither the L or C shortcuts for the Paint Mixer Brush are documented in the help files.1242646543_Screenshot2021-05-01at09_04_09.thumb.png.520c81c121399aca2dd10da3f9531ae9.png

Further update to original post:

This behaviour is repeatable for all tools using the following steps:

1) Switch into Separated Mode

2) Open a document or create a new one.

3) Select any tool.

4) Drag the document window so the status bar disappears at the bottom of the screen.

5) Click on the Desktop to activate Finder.

6) Click on the Affinity Photo document window and drag the window back so the bottom is in view.

7) Status bar info, shortcuts etc are displayed briefly and then disappear.

It should be an option in the More  Options icon (...) at the top of your post.

I've got that, but I have no Save button if I edit my original post. I can save edits to my subsequent responses to myself.

True, you don't have a Save button.

But I think you'll have another button (perhaps Edit Topic), which does the same thing.

Same thing happens with Mac OS 10.14.6

And I should add that it occurs in all three applications.

Separated mode. Move window so Status bar is off screen. Switch to finder, go back to affinity, the status bar info is missing until you choose any other tool.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
