Viveza 2 NIK plugin crashes program

Recommended Posts

IRunnin Mac Big Sur 11,2,3 and Affinity 1,9,2, since the latest upgrade the Viveza 2 plugin from the Nik Collection is consistently crashing the program. contacted DXO support and have completely reinstalled with their latest update but to no avail it still crashes. Any suggestions - seems its an Affinity issue

Viveza 2 works OK on my Windows PC, so it could be a Mac problem.

I used NIK Color FX Pro as a Affinity photo plugin, did all the adjustments, but the Affinity crashes when I save the work done with Nik, when I reopen Affinity, the adjustments made with Color FX Pro have not be saved. Nik collections plugins works well with Photolab 4. I have a iMac with MacOS Big Sur.

I've been doing some testing with the current Nik Collection with Affinity Photo and can replicate any of the issues reported here. Viveza and Colour FX haven't given any issues yet in porting images over, applying various adjustments and saving and reopening.

For M1 mac users, please see this DxO post.
