Double underline

Hi, I've our accounts to do, and our accountants are really picky about double underline.  In the table formatting panel I can't see how to do a double line at the base of the cell.

For some totals I need to do a top cell border and a bottom cell double line.  I can see that I can use the double underline in text, but this doesn't really work, as I also need a line at the top of the call which matches.  Also, some cells just have a '-' value, so I don't want to just underline the dash.

I don't think there is currently anyway to do this in Publisher I'm afraid.

damn.  OK, thanks for letting me know.  I  guess I'll just have to draw them all in.

Far from ideal, but if all else fails, you could draw lines to fit the cell with the pen tool, group them, then save the result as an asset. A bit messy to have to position it, but (hopefully) better than nothing.

Select the cells that need a double underline and then go to Decorations in the Paragraph Panel, you can have multiple decorations.

Yes, that only works if you have numbers in the cell.  If you have a blank or dash, it looks a bit rubbish with just one character underlined.

If you are using the same layout on a regular basis then maybe save as a template

How would I save it as an asset?  I don't want the contents of a cell, just the underline/above line stuff.

Clear the contents then add to assets from selection, if saving as a template I would also clear the contents first
