MiWe
Any way to get the dimension of an object including a stroke measured in pt? Given an square 10x10mm with an stroke of 10pt allined to center or outside. Do i really have to do the math on my own? Greetings
Staff MEB Posted July 20, 2020 Staff Share Posted July 20, 2020 Hi MiWe, Welcome to Affinity Forums There's no direct way to see the sum of the fill+stroke dimensions. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
MiWe
Thanks for that information. Will this be possible in future realeases? Greetings

Select the object Switch to Pixel Persona CTRL+Click on the layer's thumbnail in the Layers panel to make a marching ants selection. Select any of the selection tools (e.g. Rectangular Marquee Tool) The transform Panel should now show the size of the selection in whatever units the document is set to If you are working in millimetres and want to check some dimensions in points just temporarily switch the document to points in Document Setup Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Greetings Hi MiWe, I suggest you create a new thread/feature request for this here. It's then up to the dev team to decide if/when to implement it. MiWe
Thanks for all replies ... Some clever workarounds, temporarily expanding the stroke seem to be the best in my situation. Greetings
