Desigener: Size of object including stroke

Recommended Posts

Any way to get the dimension of an object including  a stroke measured in pt?
Given an square 10x10mm with an stroke of 10pt allined to center or outside.

Do i really have to do the math on my own?

Greetings

Try this...

Select the object
Switch to Pixel Persona
CTRL+Click on the layer's thumbnail in the Layers panel to make a marching ants selection.
Select any of the selection tools (e.g. Rectangular Marquee Tool)

The transform Panel should now show the size of the selection in whatever units the document is set to

If you are working in millimetres and want to check some dimensions in points just temporarily switch the document to points in Document Setup

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
