Publisher opening and other problems

Hi,

If you're on Windows, you can modify the extension from .afphoto to .afpub, or simply open  the APhoto file in APublisher using the menu File > Open, and save it again, this time with the .afpub extension.

And if your files have already the right file extension (.afpub), you can right-click on a file and modify the default app that will open this type of files.

Thanks all, problem solved. Publisher had been saving files with photo file extension  .afphoto . By changing file extension  on one file to   .afpub,   all the others changed also.  Very strange.

However, Publisher will not open directly. Flash screen appears with an hourglass and disappears again almost immediately. When I click on a file in a folder Publisher opens but so do other recently opened  .afpub files. No problems with Designer or Photo.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If the option below is selected, try unticking it

Out of interest, does that also cure the problem you had of Publisher not opening directly?
