Oval Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Even in the new Beta, I cannot get rid of the thin lines like this: The objects fit perfectly. Think it is the antialias algorithm. Is it a bug or a ghost? ;) Quote

Staff Leigh Posted August 3, 2015 Staff Posted August 3, 2015 I'm not seeing this issue. Is it possible to add your document to this thread for me to play with? Quote
Staff MEB Posted August 3, 2015 Staff Posted August 3, 2015 Hi Oval, That's due to antialiasing. The white from the background comes trough the edges of the shapes. This is more visible the bigger the contrast between the foreground objects and the background colour. You can minimise it using a dark object behind the shapes or adding a thin stroke to them. I believe this will still be looked at later but it's not something trivial to solve. Leigh 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Staff Leigh Posted August 3, 2015 Staff Posted August 3, 2015 MEB is correct. My objects were overlapping slightly instead of touching each other. Quote

Is it a bug or a ghost? ;) Yes, how do you get rid of this those lines ? There on the screen and there when exporting. Drives me crazy. Quote
Oval Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 Yes, how do you get rid of this those lines ? Welcome here, ludesign. Depends on your document. Add an object with the same colour in the background or combine the objects or slightly enlarge one of your objects … Quote
Staff MEB Posted March 23, 2017 Staff Posted March 23, 2017 Hi ludesign, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Adding to what Oval said, you can also add a thin stroke (center aligned) to some objects to help cover those lines. Some of these solution are more appropriate than others depending on the work you are doing. For more information this please check this post from MattP. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
