Joachim_L
It must be not enough sleep, age or something else ... I am not able pin a simple 1pt line into a text inline as a character, so that the line is moving as I type text before the line. Of course the space for the line will be cleared, but the line is not moving as I type in text. This is not what I would call inline. To get what I want is to create a group with the line and an extra element. Am I missing something here? walt.farrell
It would help to have a sample .afpub document that demonstrates it, Joachim. That's the only way we can see if you're doing something wrong However, I see the same thing, so you were probably doing it correctly. Here's a sample made in 1.8.4.648 beta: inline-line-184648.afpub In my file, both the 1px line and the rectangle are pinned inline. Adding text before the rectangle causes it to move, but the line does not move when text is added before it. I was not sure if this was a bug or me being stupid (maybe both). Perhaps @MEB wants to move this post, that I don't have to post this again? Joachim_L
Perhaps this solves also the incorrect import of IDML documents where lines are also "pinned" inline? Joachim_L
This bug is still not fixed. As a reminder is an image attached. The red line is a stroke and the green line is a rectangle.
