Helmar
Heaven knows how many times I have turned "Vertical keep within bounds" ON, and still, after a reopen, the frame has moved down again. The only way to keep it in place seems to be turning "preserve manual position" ON, but that buggers up the position should the paragraph move to another column/page. Please check! thomaso
From your screenshots it's not very clear what is intendet and what not. – How about this setting: pin out - frm borders - mirror.m4v Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
Helmar
@thomaso The problem is that AFP forgets the (vertical) pin setting, therefore moving the frame into a territory where it shouldn't be. That's impossible to convey on a video. The screens I showed were taken straight after opening, and you can imagine that I didn't deliberately place them over the page number. As it has happened every time thus far, I decided to log this bug. Cheers, Helmar
thomaso
Does it mean you are able to set it as wanted – but loose it after reopening the document? Could you show a video with our desired behavior, before closing the document/loosing the setting? Your vertical setting is "Inside Top", while mine is "Outside below". Bug confirmed. Setting of "Vertical keep within bounds" is not remembered between "Saves". Screenshots attached: one edited and saved. 2nd one: after re-opening the document. thomaso
Oh, I see. And, in my test .afpup, I get the same issue with lost "Keep within bounds" settings after re-opening, in particular the horizontal gets set from un-ticked to ticked and the vertical vice versa from ticked to un-ticked. Quite weird. Saved: Re-Opened: Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

thomaso
I can confirm that pinning settings aren't lost or undesirably changed after re-opening the .afpub in v184.
