VectorCat
Using File > Document Setup > Dimensions > Anchor to Page with aspect ratio UNLOCKED, such that changing width number does not change height number, after I change the width to what I want and press OK, the document is unchanged. I simply need to keep the same height, but reduce the width. Is this possible? Thank you!
walt.farrell
Does your document have a canvas, or does it have Artboards? VectorCat
I'm pretty sure it's simply a canvas. nothing says Artboard in the Layers Studio.
GarryP
This works okay for me on Windows (see attached video). If you can upload your own video/GIF, that might make it easier for us to see what’s happening. 2020-04-06 09-30-26.mp4

VectorCat
As I was working with the document in question, suddenly the document assumed the dimensions Id typed. I know it sounds weird, and I had no other processes going on hoovering up CPU power. I experimented with other test documemts and the dimension changes happened instantly, as in the above example video. Im powerless to explain the delay I experienced. All of your responses vindicated that I had been doing it right. Thank you!
GarryP
One thing I did notice, when resizing the document larger, was the thick black line which can be seen in this video. Zooming in/out a bit makes the problem go away but I don’t know why it happens (and it only seems to happen on the first resize). 2020-04-06 14-24-21.mp4
