A_B_C
I don’t know whether this has been reported already. Sorry, if so, but when you flip a placed image the context toolbar of the Move Tool will display negative dpi values in one axis. Which doesn’t seem to make sense. What are –428 dpi? 🤔 Flipping.mov

thomaso
(I like this minus here. Note that the Resource Manager doesn't reflect this. Maybe a subtle feature to show if a resource was flipped. I just wouldn't mind the 'wrong' negative value in the menu bar.) Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
A_B_C
Not to be insistent, but negative dpi values seem weird. I’d rather appreciate a little mark to appear when an image is flipped … anything but the minus … you and me are aware of what’s going on, but I bet if I shared a document with someone who doesn’t know, they would be quite confused … 😉
thomaso
> "I bet if I shared a document with someone who doesn’t know, they would be quite confused …" You also could bet if you share a layout document with a mirrored resource that it might confuse anyway. Honestly, how often do you mirror a resource? If often, why not before saving the resource, but in the layout application? Note that in a non-Affinity app a flipped item may get a minus instead in the scale percentage or in the height/width info entry. Unfortunately in APub the little mark (this 'minus') doesn't work properly: it appears at the 1st of 2 dpi values only, regardless of the flipping direction (horizontally or vertically). And if you flip in both directions the 'minus' disappears (I'd expect 2 of them). So it's no perfect indicator. ... however, I do more miss to see the DPI for a placed PDF, too. I wonder why for PDF it does appear in the Resource Manager but not in the menu bar.
