divide function does not work correctly after update

hi,

after recent update the divide function does not work correctly. Either the program closes on older files or it transforms rectangles into curves.

Its really a simple function, for example cutting parts out of a rectangle as you see on then images.

The divide function (as do all the Boolean functions) needs to have curves so the changing to curves is to be expected but I don't know about crashing/closing on older files.

I'm having the same issue. When trying to divide shapes drawn with the rectangle tool, the edges are made wavy. This happens even after converting to curves.

Hi, this is a simple example, how it works since the latest update. Actually one corner point is missing after using the divide function.

If I lay the the dividing rectangle (magenta) under the two parallel rectangles it works as it should.

Actually the problem seems to appear on the left side of the rectangles / left top anchor points,  as you can see above, where I proceeded the same way.

Same here to weld or ro rest. Very big issue for creating a one ink version logo for a graphic identity Manual.

Not a file problem as it happens everywhere and with different files.

Sorry, there was a small problem that occurs on (ironically) simpler shapes (ie those with straight lines and horizontal/vertical segments) and it has now been resolved. I'll build a 1.8.2 Beta and have it available very soon. I'm truly sorry about this - hopefully we'll have this sorted out for you very very soon!

thanks @MattP   I'm  testing everything and reviewing the tools, in order to report here something to help you guys, thanks once again, mainly for affinity team efforts on these enhancements
