After installing the 1.8 patch, I cannot save the file I was working on. I even sent the file to a colleague and the same happens. It was working fine before the patch, now I can't continue my work. Any solutions?

I am having this same problem.  It will allow me to open documents, but I can not save any new work.  I have restarted a few times, powered off and waited, then turned back on, tried to open the file instead of going to 'open recent,' nothing seems to be helping.  I have deadlines.  Is there a way to uninstall the update to continue working until the bug is fixed?

I'm not able to reproduce it though. It wasn't a problem in the Beta or in the Beta release candidate. Have you tried uninstalling and doing a clean install?

Hi,

We'd need to see the afpub files to investigate - could you please upload sample here. If you could prefix the filename with your forum user name that would help us

I've just uploaded the file, hope we find a solution soon or else I'm in trouble.

Hi @Heolstor,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

The cause of the crash seems to be the text frame on page 199. (Nárún - The Whisper of the Corpse). If you copy the text, delete the text frame and re-add a new text frame, it should all be fine.
