Emar Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Hi, I'm rather new to to Affinity, How do I recover 2 "lost" tools? They have disappeared from the screen! Quote
Dan C Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Hi Emar Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Which 2 tools are you referring to please? Quote
Emar Posted February 1, 2020 Author Posted February 1, 2020 Hi Dan, it's the Healing Brush set and the Paint Brush set, both on Photo Persona. They seem to have disappeared when I was using Ctrl z at some stage on a project, I wouldn't have thought that should have affected it. Thanks, Emar. Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 The Healing Brush is part of a set of brushes, by default, and the icon that is showing would be for the last tool you used from that set. So it might be any of these shown in the flyout: Similarly, the Paint Brush is part of a set, and the visible icon might be any of these, by default: If the one you want isn't the one that is showing, you can click on the white triangle next to the one that is showing to get access to the others. Emar Posted February 1, 2020 Author Posted February 1, 2020 Thanks for that Walt, I'll know in future. I used to be a compositor many years ago and decided at the age of 80 to do some photo work, I'm really enjoying it, thanks again. Emar. Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 You're welcome, Emar.
