I recently upgraded my iMac from High Sierra to Mojave. Today was the first time I tried opening the Welcome window (Help > Welcome) so I don't know if there is some setting specific to Mojave that I have to change, but in both the retail & beta versions of all 3  Affinity desktop apps the left side of the Welcome window is empty except for an Affinity logo, like this:

The right side stuff all works so Affinity definitely can 'phone home' but something is preventing anything from showing on the left.

I have already checked System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall > Advanced ... & not only is it set to automatically allow signed apps to receive connections, I explicitly added all 6 apps to the list:

So is it just me or is anybody else seeing the same thing?

So do you think it might be something at Serif's end?

My first macOS was Mojave, so I may not be the one to ask.  Occasionally, the left panel side will populate with advertisements, announcements, etc. I see you have that unchecked, bottom left.  I recently updated to Catalina 10.15.3.

This is something at Serif’s end I think as it was working around this time yesterday for me.
Although clicking on the link in it for the Inksy brush pack did not connect to anything.
So it may be down for bug hunting.

I seen it both ways so really ignore the screen.  I will scroll through sometimes to see if a free brush pack or something I need is offered.

This should now be resolved.  If you restart the apps, the Welcome screen should be back to normal :)

Thanks for reporting this @R C-R  and thanks to others for confirming the issue :)
