Margins when inserting single pages into spreads

The margins are being reversed when I insert a single page into a spread. I'm seeing outer margins on the inner portion of the page and vice versa.

Sure. I’ll do it in a bit when I’m back at the computer - it’s def happening for me. By the way do you prefer the release version or beta? Should the two threads I created be merged or one deleted as whilst there may be two separate issues or possibly one issue and one element of confusion on my part, clearly it’s all very close?

My guess (I'm not the dev) is that it would be best to try in the beta, since the 1.8 beta has had work that is supposed to resolve issues related to this.

@adrianlambert,  this thread seems to be a 'copy'. While this thread does not mention the conversion of facing to single pages and therefore does not describe the issue sufficiently. You might think of hiding it (via 'Options' below your first post )

I guess maybe this is a feature request for single master pages to be assigned to right or left, or for it to work it out based on the position in the doc? Just surprised it's been overlooked.

Although It may be partially implemented as I see when I look at my master single pages the margins are to the left and right as I wanted them. The margins just don't get applied as per the master.

(BTW I recorded this in 1.7.3 so just checked and the beta behaviour is identical)
