affinity photo move tool glitch

It seems like every time I paste layers from an open photoshop doc inside of AF Photo, the move tool stops working, leading me to restart the program.

I don't have any suggestions to resolve that problem, unfortunately. But I would suggest that you change your forum username to something that isn't your email address. Spammers can easily harvest usernames from here and when they are an email address they can start sending you spam.

On the upper right of this page you should see your username as a pull-down. Click on the pull-down, and choose Account Settings. On the next page, you can change your Display Name to something else to avoid that problem.

as walt has already written, first I would change the username
in order not to receive any unwanted spam emails.

I have no problems with moving and pasting.

A screenshot could be helpful.

I have this issue as well  it seems as if I spend more time dancing around bugs then enjoying the software because of this I haven't used AF in a while Iv'e actually been avoiding it at all cost and using random freeware to get task done.

Hello everybody,
maybe this helps.
Select the layer in the layer panel
Make a selection with the shortcut CTRL + A,
the layer can be moved and scaled with the Move Tool.
