Incorrect font reported in Character panel

Recommended Posts

While examining the .afpub file posted by MxHeppa here I noticed that if I double-click on a line in the recipe text frame, and then compare the Context Toolbar and the Character panel:

  • In Publisher 1.7.3.481, both locations agree that the font is Georgia.
  • In Publisher beta 1.8.0.518, the Context Toolbar says the font is Georgia, and the Character panel says the font is Arial.

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Character Panel - Not reflecting font) of the program in the latest Affinity Publisher beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. Once Affinity Publisher has been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.0 update to all customers.

The 1.8.0 builds are in links at the top of these beta forum posts
