Hans Hoogerhuis
Hi Guys, I noticed that the storage for Photo is now 11gb. Which is strange because both the Affinity Photo folder is empty and I don’t have any photos on the Affinity Photo start page / desktop. Is it keeping some kind of cache? Can I clear it someway? Thx H.
Staff Lee D Posted November 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 4, 2019 To free up the space the app will need to removed from your iPad, the iPad then restarted and the app downloaded again from the App Store. Before doing this please check the following locations as these will also me removed and files may need to be moved or backup before removing the app. Using the Files app, check the Affinity Photo folder on stored locally "On My iPad", If needed move/backup files. The Affinity Photo folder on iCloud will also be removed, if this contains any files that are required, move them to another folder on iCloud before removing the app. lumaluke
lumaluke
@Lee D Unfortunately, this is not all that needs to be preserved. There are still files in the /Documents/Inbox folder that are not available and are only partially shown (not all) when the application starts. Now you can manage these files only by connecting the tablet to the Mac or PC through applications like iMazing.

Horseflesh
This is not awesome, but on the plus side we at least got a detailed answer. ronnyb
