Affinity for Ipad as demo avaiable?

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,
A friend of mine want to Test the Affinity Software (Photo and Designer) on his Ipad before he buys it. But the Problem is, that it seems that there is no Demoversion avaiable like for Win or Mac.
Is ist possible to get a Demoversion for Ipad? On the Homepage i only can choose between Version for Win or Mac, but not for Ipad....

Have a nice day.
Ich wünsche einen schönen Tag.

Hi Uwe367 :)

Due to the way Apple distribute apps through the App Store on iPad we unfortunately can't offer a trial at this time, however we're aware that this would be useful to customers and are looking into a way of implementing this in the future. My apologies for any inconveniences in the meantime, although not ideal if your friend lives near an Apple Store they tend to have our apps preloaded on the display iPads - so they may get a chance to trial the app there.

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

It’s a no brainer, it’s so cheap but amazingly powerful assuming the iPad meets Affinity minimum specifications they have nothing to lose !! Best with Apple Pencil too, they will not regret and will be thanking you for ages to come !

I know that he works with a Mac Computer and so i believe that he works with an Apple Pencil too. I send him the Link to this thread here and then he can read self what was written here. Thank you both for your suggestions :)

If he has a Mac it worth noting that the iPad version UI is different to Windows and Mac versions however the basic concepts are the same I.e. same Proformas, same Tools, same Studios. Just in different locations.Takes a little time to acclimatise but not difficult and the apps are great.
