Affinity editing of photos in Apple Photos with iPad

I am unable to find a way of saving my (replacing really) affinity edited images back to where I got them from when using my iPad

ie: use affinity to edit a phot from “photos” but how do I save it back to photos . When I use the same principle on my MAC the edited image is then saved back in photo  ( unless of course you have been unfortunate enough upgrade to the latest Ois then the complete system is in a mess)

The workaround I use, until they fix the problem, is File, Share to my image to iMessage address and from iMessage save to Photos.  Not the best workaround, but if I want a copy of image to save to Photos it works.

As @Cecil suggests to save back to the Photos app tap Share on the Export screen and select Save Image, this will save the new image to Photos, it won't overwrite the existing one.

Any option two years later to replace photos directly in the photos app (in specific albums) out of Affinity Photo für iPad?

Would also urgently need this feature for my workflow.

This can be achieved using a simple one statement IOS Shortcut.
