  1. I have lived in the city all my life, but sometimes I really want to escape from the city. But I can't do that yet so I just expressed it into a photo manipulation speed art. "Escape from the City" speed art : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXrpXbm5h4I

  3. ....Swirling sands, driven by gentle winds slowly clear to reveal a Metropolis. The research team stop to take a moment and absorb the magnificent sight ahead of them.
  4. Collage of a moon in a rose, created with Affinity Photo.
  5. This photo manipulation artwork is "Mars Rising". I saw a video of Mars Rising with the moon and it was very impressive. So I made an image by changing the order of the moon and Mars. "Mars Rising" speed art : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfo9R5yz-7E
  6. This photo manipulation artwork is "A Blue Sunset Planet". I found out that there was a blue sunset on Mars, so I try to make a planet with that. "A Blue Sunset Planet" speed art : https://youtu.be/7eLcUUaEXuk
  7. 3-4 Years ago my Nephew and I decided it would be funny to create an animated series based on some weird cockroach drawings he did as a child that he called 'COCs'😅. We came up with some characters and story lines and the name C.O.C SQUAD (Combat Orientated Cockroaches). It's based on early 90s action movies and cartoons and went through quite a few different art styles and approaches until we found what worked. The movies Showdown In Little Tokyo and Hard Target were particularly influential. The characters were designed in Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo. There were then exported to various pieces of animation software. We recently launched a Kickstarter to try and get some funding to finish the first episode in a reasonable amount of time (It's half done). I would love to know what you guys think of it. 9. .....Discovery by the research team of an energy sphere which they have coined, "The Power Marble." Apart from 4 base photographs, desert sands, distant rock structure, tourists, well hole, all concept designs created entirely within Affinity Photo using shapes and texture samples.
  10. This, by rights, should've been picture 4 in the series, but due to a major computer malfunction I lost the version (3) I was working on. Hey-ho. # I don't trust technology.
  11. To those who are new, I tried to make a horror themed videogame for Gameboy around 2022. Now in 2023 I decided to remake this game and I've been able to finally catch up with my original demo, but with a more stable and more interesting gameplay. Although I first started using Pixel Studio, and later Hexels, as the project began to become or demanding, I transitioned completely to Affinity Photo and many of my social media assets were made using Photo and Designer. You can try my demo for free at my itch.io. Or if you're into that kind of stuff, you can watch the whole gameplay here on my YouTube channel. I leave this posts with some gifs of my game, thanks for reading my post Game Main Menu Title. The main protagonist Mara's great debut. Moving Mara around the map. Interacting with the NPCs. Save menu "Kill" gameplay mechanic "Run" gameplay mechanic. RCvid_V1.2_JorgeTalk_23303-23781.mp4 Meeting special characters RCvid_V1.2_MeetAlex_74798-75372.mp4 A possible romance ? 12. For this picture I had to completely replace the sky, which at first seemed unfeasible. Then I remembered a channel selection in this context. So I selected the blue channel (the main colour of the overcast sky), inverted it and cropped it with a mask. Selected a new sky and inserted it under the leaves layer. The rest was then just a matter of adjusting the tonality and colour.
  13. My wife is a RABBIT FANATIC. She even calls herself "RabbitMom". Over the years, she's begun to take on some of the attributes of her pets. Here's the proof!! 🤪
  14. "On the Edge" Just having some fun with Affinity Photo. 🤪
  15. Hello! This was my first attempt at a completely digital 'painting', which I ended up using stop-motion animation to turn into a short video. The artwork was created in Affinity Photo using the NB Master Watercolor brush set. Fox is actually the name of our pet Cockeral and Isla is my daughter. It was originally part of a larger piece which included a full portrait of Isla, but in the end, I decided to spin it out into a standalone piece. The portrait is ongoing. A higher-resolution version of the work can be viewed on my website at www.msibley.com. Thanks for looking 😊 Foxy 720p.mp4
  16. My own photo of Bran Castle, the alleged residence of Count Dracula, in Transylvania, taken in 2016, formed the basis for this image. It was covered with the texture dragonshield by D.Wuestenhagen (included in Affinity Photo 1) and the decoration was done with the great Halloween assets by user @v_kyr . The font is a free TrueType font called Ghastly Panic Font by Chad Savage http://www.sinisterfonts.com All edited in Affinity Photo 2.2.1.

  18. This is the latest flier I have designed for our local Bowls club
  19. One selection later, with the output as a mask, then the color picker to match the background colour in the image for a rectangle under the image layer, then a white balance adjustment to get rid of almost all of that colour, then a levels adjustment to create a more defined image, then three pixel layers with varying opacity levels to provide some colour with some watercolour brushes, then a merge visible. Then off to a pastel plugin. Then back to Photo for another levels adjustment. Then a vibrance adjustment. The result: Morpeth Castle, "a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade I listed building at Morpeth, Northumberland, England ... restored by the Landmark Trust and is now available as a holiday rental home." My source comes from the British Library, digitised image from page 82 of "The Local Historian's Table Book of remarkable occurrences, historical facts, traditions, legendary and descriptive ballads, connected with the Counties of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, and Durham.,," which is in the Public Domain.
  20. I saw the tree and its carvings at the weekend in Dortmund's Westfalenpark and cropped and redesigned the image.
  21. A bit of straightening and cropping, some Levels, Curves, and HSL Shift Adjustments, then some Tone Mapping, plus a watercolour plugin and here is Harlech Castle, as Sir Walter Scott could never have imagined. (And probably wouldn't have, had he been able to!) Flickr.com has a marvellous link to the British Library's collection of images in the Public Domain, and therefore without copyright restrictions. This came from the Castles Gallery.
