Hi, First of all, Ive been having issues with affinity photo freezing/crashing with a simple batch job processing to jpg with only one macro (with only one cropping action applied). i think this should be a bug. secondly, The results from the cropping in macro is different than when its applied on batch processing. while recording the macro, i choose costume ratio of 4x3 and it crops center of image in a way that only two sides of image (either left and right, or up and down) are cropped out. but when its applied by batch processing, it gives me strange results as sample image below (either keeping the top left of the image and cropping out huge margin from the rest of the image. Thirdly, Im trying to figure out recording the following processes on a macro but somehow i cant figure it out. Is there anyone that could help me with step by step process of this or is it not possible. apply costume ratio Cropping Resizing the document to certain dimension say, 1600x1200 Adding 5% white border around the photo Adding watermark or logo on an exact location

I would love to see affinity make a tutorial video over this. In my case it has been with so many errors, specially when cropping. You’d think when you record cropping in macro by costume ratio, it would always crop from center as its previewed. But when you do a batch job using that macro, it crops from right and down sides instead, And keeps all top and left sides of the picture. Am i missing something here?

Thats very good news. i believe ipad export persona features are much less that desktop version, although still far ahead from any ipad app, but i hope one day the export persona could match the same features as the desktop affinity.

I enable “snap to baseline” because its necessary for my document format. However that also effects my text in my tables... i want to be able to have snap to baseline applied to all my documents except the tables so i can modify my tables however i please without text snapping constraints .

Hi. Great Job on publisher. I have several suggestion regarding User Experiende. I believe the text styles and paragraph styles need to have a simpler (app like) UI, and the paragraph styles should be updated live and automatically (instead of current way where you have to press update text/paragraph style in order to update it) so it should kinda work as the symbols do. Also, i believe styles should also have global styles, where they sync together. Specially in long focuments where a huge portion of graphical styles are implemented. (This function could also be used in designer, but i believe in publisher is more essential feature)

i also agree with Presentation mode feature request, i believe they are working on something like that alongside designer's prototyping mode or persona. but for now a workaround i use is to press tab to hide the tools than command+0 to make it fullscreen. its not really like a presentation mode, but it allows me to view my work without any distraction.

Hi , 1. Is there any way to change all or multiple slices dimensions at once 2. Is there a way to add file format to multiple slices - for example i made 50 slices, now i want 38 of them to be exported in PSD, PDF, JPG(1x & 4x) and PNG, do i have to add individually or is there a way to apply these to several of them? Yes , Im aware of the existing shortcuts, but my workflow sometimes requires constant selecting items while slicing (not with slice tool) and each time i have to switch between slices tab to layers tab just to click (Create Slice) otherwise when i switch to slice tool, my selections are deselected without giving me a slice for exporting.

How can i edit a table's text without having it attaching to baseline grid? now when i modify my table size and dimensions, it looks very wacky.

Is there a way to create slice with keyboard shortcut? it will help on export persona

Hi. Firstly i want to say thank you guys for your great work. Personally, im a creative director Healthcare and fashion of a company, UX/UI consultant of another company and also my own design studio as well, with all these at hand, i’ve decided to force myself to use iPad Pro all the way through for all my work for a month just to see if its actually doable. a week has passed and amazingly, i am , to my own surprise , very comfortable and pleased so far. So kudos man. Dont know how you guys did it but you pulled it off. This is a work of art. There two very mundane problems i came across though, 1. When node tool is selected, and i want to select multipl nodes. I can open a “selection box” to choose a few. But if i want to add another, i have to hold my fingure (access one finger gesture mode as the blue bubbl appears) select other nodes with other finger. This is good but one crutial thing is missing. I should be able to open “selection box” while in one finger gestur more so i could select multiple nodes at once without deselecting my prvevious nodes. 2. This one may be a question rather than a issue, since i may simply just not know how to use it. When in text mode and i select a shape that increated with nodes, when i want to select a portion (specially the beginning or ending) of my text, instead of selecting or highlighting it, it resizes the shape. To this point the only workarounds i found for this are not logically feasable for a professional app, there must be a way Maybe with gestures to let the pencil (or finger) know that its selecting to displace or selecting to edit text. P.S. in my time using affinity designer for ipad, i realized the export persona is extremely half baked. Im assuming its because of your assumption that people would use the iPad as a secondary Device and would not require the full export setting, unfortunately in my case, i require to send files to some printing and advertising agencies which one requires me to change the pdf format amd other to change the color standard settings that were missing. I also could not find the optIon of converting text to curve in export persona and that is useful since i make brochures and parts of webpages and blog designs in the same file and that would require each to be exported in their own format. Somewhat like the way it is on desktop. I wanted to know if there is plan to bring all export persona features to iPad version or no?

Hi. Currently when i add an adjustment on ipad, it places it on top of the layer instad of inside the layer (th way it is on affinity for desktop) how can i change this and make new adjustment to be inside the layer as default? Thanks?

Cant see the logic there. Your complimenting a well thought, patiently done work of product and asking for a rushed follow up product? im also excited checking the forum everyday when i get time but... really? More transparency also means competition will know your next move.

In Affinity Designer Desktop: under the node took you can click on corner tool or use shortcut “c” which allows u to make adjustments to your vector corner at ease. In Affinity Photo its a bit more complicated since its more for photo and bitmap minupilation purposes, doesnt have as many vector tools as designer so vector shape minupilations require some extra steps. In Affinity Photo Desktop: turn on snapping to vector shapes, create a circle, resize and position it where you want to make the curve and use the boelean operations to attach the rounded corner to your shape In Affinity Photo iPad try to use the desktop method or - place a plastic coin you ipad where you want to make the curve and erase the extra edge with eraser or - get a desktop while we all wait for affinity designer for ipad and affinity publisher to come out , supposebly this summer... which is been taking forever now. Although i must say all those refreshes on affinity forum may have made it feel much longer that it should...

it will work with 2018 iPad and will support the pencil as well

Hi, I have this feature request, I like to have the ability to export fonts used in the documents in export persona and the export section, or even when i save the affinity document, It will be a really good time savor if this option was available in application save/export/export persona popup Thanks. Also , when are you guys releasing affinity publisher and designer for ipad... iv'e been waiting so long and its summer already. You guys do amazing work ;-)
