  1. Welcome to the forums @SulMioSito None of the Affinity applications have editable PDF field functionalities.
  2. You’re welcome. Good to know it was an easy ‘fix’, although there’s still the problem of why they disappeared in the first place. (I don't know if there could be a way of figuring that out.)
  3. I didn’t think Photo came with any assets. I’ve just looked in my 1.10.6 installation and there’s none there. Maybe you got them via the Serif Store, possibly as (part of) a special deal or something. You might like to look in the My Account section of Photo, or the Serif Store; you might be able to install them from there.
  4. I’m not the best person to advise on problems with assets as I don’t use them very much. I do remember reading some threads where assets have gone missing but, if memory serves me, on those occasions the whole asset collection went missing – the assets file had been ‘corrupted’ and replaced with a new empty one, or something like that – rather than just some of them. (But my memory isn’t great.) Hopefully one of the experts will be along soon to advise further. While you are waiting, would you be able to give some idea about what’s gone missing? For instance, is it some whole categories, or just some sub-categories, or just some individual assets, or a mix of those? Also, have a look to see if you have a backup of the Photo application folder somewhere. You might be able to restore the assets from a backup if you have one but someone will need to know if you have one before they can help you to restore from it.
  5. That’s what I thought it might be, until they mentioned Leading and Kerning where the drop-downs don’t have single-integer-difference lists (which I thought was what was being asked for), hence the confusion and request for clarification.
  6. Does you mean that you were using an earlier version of V1, but recently upgraded to a later version of V1, and after doing so, you have noticed that some assets are missing, or something else?
  7. Note: AP (in the thread title) is the abbreviation for Photo, but APu is the generally acknowledged abbreviation for Publisher (or APub).
  8. Does that mean that you were using V1 and then installed V2 but your assets in V1 were not automatically imported into V2, or something else?
  9. Are you sure that you are using the application in which the Assets were created/imported? For instance, if you create an asset in Designer it won’t normally (automatically) be available in Photo or Publisher. To get an an Asset Category to be seen in all your Affinity applications you can Link it via the Assets Panel ‘hamburger’ icon.
  10. I don’t doubt its usefulness for those who want it but, after my experience of providing limited ‘support’ in these forums for a while and seeing how often this sort of thing comes up, I just don’t think that it should be set by default, for all users, out-of-the-box. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t be able to have it if we want it, only that I don’t think it should be there by default, and that’s all I’m saying.
  11. You’re welcome. You’re not the first person to find that parts of the UI have gone missing without them knowing what’s happened or with an easy way to restore things (e.g. Undo). Personally I think it’s a questionable idea to have such an apparently ‘destructive’ functionality available, by default, via such an easily-pressed key but it’s been mentioned/discussed in the forums on more than one occasion and Serif haven’t agreed that it shouldn’t be like it is now, so it is what it is I guess.
  12. It’s quite easy to press the Tab key accidentally which toggles the visibility of most of the UI. It’s also quite easy to accidentally press Ctrl+H (which is “Find/Replace” in a lot of applications) for the Hide Studio functionality. You can remove these shortcuts if you think they might cause trouble in the future. The Studio menus were moved from the View menu to the Window menu at the ‘switch-over’ to V2.
  13. The Kerning drop-down gives a list of integer percentages in with a divisor of 5, and the Leading drop-down uses (pretty much) the same values as the font size drop-down, so I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “by one dot”. If you can explain what you want a bit more fully then that might help to clear things up. Having a drop-down list of every integer from 5 to 288 (existing min/max) would probably make for a cumbersome drop-down. If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel you can put the mouse pointer over the numeric field and change the number to the next integer (up or down) with the scroll wheel. Alternatively, you can click in the numeric field and use the up/down arrow keys to change the number to the next integer.
  14. Can you describe, and/or record on video, the full step-by-step process you are following? Also, which OS are you using and on what type of device are the images stored?
  15. It sounds like you got to my first answer before I ‘scratched it out’ because it was wrong. Try the method I gave after that. I don’t know where the original problem came from.
  16. Try this: Add the image to the document as an Image Layer (use Place); Set the Text Wrap to the required settings to the image layer; Use menu “Layer → Convert to Picture Frame”. That seems to work.
  17. I think the problem you are having there could be that the image in inside a Picture Frame and you have set the Text Wrap for the image, not the frame, so the text is wrapping to the frame. Try changing the Text Wrap settings of the frame too. No, sorry, that’s not the answer. I just tried it and it didn’t work. I wonder why.
  18. The first thing to try is to switch Auto-hyphenation ON – Paragraph Panel, Hyphenation section (or in Edit Style) – and see what happens. If that doesn’t give good enough results then we would need to see what it looks like and what parts of the resultant text you don’t like. Note: There are some existing problems with auto-hyphenation in certain languages. You can check the forums for more information about that.
  19. It might help other people who are looking for a solution to the same problem, and come across this thread looking for answers, if you say how you resolved it.
  20. Unless I’ve totally misunderstood what the OP wants, I think we’re thinking the same thing – it just can’t be done, even in V2. I’ve found a few questions about this sort of thing, for example: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/192500-any-way-to-perfectly-align-handles/ ...but I cannot find an actual feature request except this post: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/45702-node-handle-selection-priority/&do=findComment&comment=264317 ...which is inside a request for something slightly different. Maybe the OP would like to add a new request.
  21. @v_kyr I’m fairly sure, but nowhere near 100% sure, that the OP is asking about modifying the node handles of multiple nodes at the same time. Is that what your video was demonstrating?
  22. The functionality you highlighted in your original post was for duplicating the geometries of one curve to another curve. What I think you are asking for is a different thing and, as far as I know, can’t be done in any of the Affinity applications. We can currently only manually modify the node handles of one node at any one time (even when multiple nodes are selected), rather than the node handles of multiple nodes at the same time. I’m pretty sure, but can’t be certain, that this sort of thing has been requested before.
