iPad OS 15.3.1 came out on February 10. And Designer and Photo have not been updated in a while. Does it crash with any file or newly created one, or just with some?

There is something you don't understand here.... of that I'm sure ! Or you're very sensitive.... I have blue eyes and my hearing is not what it used to be.... so do these expressions make me feel sad or mad in anyway.... not at all. My first language is French and we use the same kind of expressions... but maybe I'm wearing pink glasses...

I can't say I have problems with all three apps ( I don't use Publisher very much), but since the first versions of Photo and Designer I always felt that there is something wrong with the memory management and filesize. This is from day one, on Windows at least. I understand that implementing hardware graphics acceleration is not an easy task with all the different cards and configurations. I never had any problem so far with GA, but reading comments from so many users having problems with it.... there is something wrong there too. Maybe third party modules and libraries... I can't say. But this being said.... I would never go back to Adobe. I much prefer Affinity apps.

I have a nVidia GTX 1060 and all Affinity apps work very well with Open CL. It has to be something else... and I think I know where the problem is....

I downloaded your RAW file and the metadata has remained the same from start to finish. Affinity Photo - Topaz Denoise AI (3.4.2) as a plugin. The data is still in the exported JPG file. This is on Windows.

With my G9 files Affinity Photo displays automatically the correct lens info and adjust the image accordingly, I don't have to specifiy the lens. The correct lens info appears in the metadata panel. After I "develop" the image and then come back to the Develop Persona, the lens info is still there. After exporting the file to JPG the lens info is included in the exif data. So far I used only Panasonic lenses on my G9, I don't know what happens with other lens. Are you using a Panasonic lens?

I think that most of us on Windows have the same problem. It's not Windows 11 as the same bug existed under Windows 10. As mentionned, a bug report already exists. Je crois bien que la majorité d'entre nous sous Windows avons le même problème. J'ai déjà eu ce bug sous Windows 10. Comme mentionné plus haut un rapport existe déjà pour ce bug.

This morning I can't get Photo to crash with any file I scan with VueScan. I think it has something to do with the color profile as Photo had to assign one when opening the file. I remember that I had some crashes with earlier versions of Photo in the past once in a while when opening pdf scanned with VueScan. There is not much I can do for now, but next time it happens I will attach the document if it does not contains sensitive informations. Thanks for replying.

I tried to open PDF files scanned with "VueScan" and Photo crashes every time. I can't attach the documents but I have attached the Crash Report. Photo Beta also crashes but does not create a crash report. I opened the files in Designer without any problem. ea1e6b7f-c428-401c-b065-f36c4ae7c46a.dmp

I don't see any white line here. But it seems that the "Assistant" does not make any adjustment when I open the file.

No problem at all here using Windows 11 with HA on and using Windows clipboard history. Latest nVidia Studio drivers

It looks like a problem with HA but... why at the 14th file only ? I have the same graphic card and never had a problem.

I used Darktable for years it found it superior to LR on many points. Never liked Rawtherepee very much, but it's really not a bad alternative. Both are really superior to Aftershot Pro which is light years behind all others. I went back to ON1 Photo Raw and I have to admit that it's now on top. You pay once and it it's yours. Get the Trial and I'm sure you will like it. So my suggestions: FIrst... pay once... ON1 Photo Raw.... Second: free and very good (best than LR on some points) Darktable.

Same behavior here with the Overlay Paint tool. It draws a line by itself, as soon as you begin to draw, A straight line is drawn by itself from a random point up to where you put the pen. It does that with mouse or tablet, hardware acceleration on or off. It happens only when opening a RAW file in Develop persona. If I open a JPG file and go to the Develop persona there is no problem at all. I remember that I saw that exact same behavior a few versions ago. As I don't use this feature much I can't say it this was fixed and came back.

Ça semble effectivement provenir de l'accélération graphique (OpenCL). Comme mentionné par @Subclavius , plus d'infos sur votre système aiderait à un meilleur diagnostic.

I use Windows 11 also and all apps are speedy and starts in 4-5 seconds.
