勉若明 勇 got a reaction from CartoonMike in Digital impressionism, sketches, random work
Hey there!
My name is Benjamin, and I just started to use the marvelous piece of software by Serif today (even though AD is a world for itself). Never did serious stuff in Photoshop, so it's kind of a double debut. I started arts 2 years ago and I still suck, so I'd love some critique. I will also use this thread to keep on publishing my work.
Cheers!

勉若明 勇 got a reaction from anon1 in New possibilities of viewing the brush panel pretty please!
Hi there,
I came here for one little request, that I am missing massively in Affinity Photo/Designer; it is the possibility to change the view of the brush panel preview, so we can view the brushes in a raster, instead of a list, just like Photoshop you know? ;)
Huge thanks in advance!
Cheers!

勉若明 勇 reacted to noor in Cherry Blossom
I have just finished a cherry blossom tree after spending quite some time on it. All the drawings are vectors. However, I had problems with the memory when I add the flowers. Therefore, I had to convert the flowers into png images, and use these images on the tree.

I agree with Madame, cool colors and texture. From a distance looks like a gouache painting.

Hi.
I love the colours.
The few complementary highlights add very much to the composition I think. The mood is strong and goes well with the red colours.
I like the way you use texture. Looking forward to more postings.
