  1. @PaulaABQ Welcome to the Affinity forums. You need to download the installer to your new MAC from whichever store you originally purchased it, presumably, from what you write, the MAC AppStore. You need to ensure you are logging into the store with the same credentials as you used when you made the original purchase. If you are sure you are logging in with the same details but the app shows as you need to buy it, you will need to follow this up with the AppStore support team. Because Apple and Serif share no data on customers Serif has no record of your purchase and so cannot offer any help to you.
  2. @Wolfgang Schwaiger Although I am not a MAC user I understand your App Store account (and purchases) is linked to the email address you used when you originally purchased the apps. You say you made the purchases with a different email address. You need to log into the App Store using that email address, or, if you cannot do that you need to ask Apple Support how you can combine the old and new store accounts into one. Serif and Apple share NO customer data so no-one at Serif can help you with this problem, I think.
  3. @smolny82 Which versions of the apps do you currently have installed and what OS are you running (Mac or Windows)?
  4. @Tamaleus Check under Preferences>User interface, "Monochromatic Iconography". I suspect you need to untick it. HTH
  5. @Lee D Thanks for the latest message, but I'm not the OP! I have Designer and Photo on both desktop and iPad and I suppose, a) I didn't read the OP's post carefully enough, and b) I don't know how to draw a straight line (as per the OP's request) on the iPad.
  6. @Hachmi Welcome to the Affinity forums. Where exactly was your work saved before you uninstalled the app? By default, I believe, the save location is within the iPad's sandbox; you have to specifically select a different location if you wish to ensure your work is not removed in the event that you need to uninstall and reinstall the app. In other words, in your situation, if you did not save your work outside the sandbox I'm pretty certain it is not retrievable, sorry. If I am wrong about this I am sure someone else will give you the right answer.
  7. @Lee D Hi Lee I may be completely missing something here, but where is the Shift key on an iPad? Jeff
  8. @jolson42o Welcome to the Affinity forums. The licence is permanently linked to the email address given by the purchaser at the time of original purchase, so I think that what you are asking is not possible, sorry.
  9. @Fritz Schwarz @Komatös I don't think Serif can offer a refund in this case. The iPad version has to be purchased from the iPad store so only Apple can issue a refund, I think.
  10. @michaelyounglondon Welcome to the Affinity forums. What OS do you run and, assuming you downloaded the free trial from the Serif store, where did you purchase your product key?
  11. @Tiamariacat Welcome to the Affinity forums. Which OS do you have and where did you originally purchase the app(s), direct from Serif or from the App Store appropriate for your OS? Depending on your answers to these questions we can then advise you further. But, as a general point you do not need to remove the app(s) from your old computer in order to be able to download, install and use it/them on your new. Which of the apps do you actually have?
  12. @Faisal Bahari Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Sine at least two of the images you have posted include your personal email address can I strongly suggest that you remove them or at least obscure your address as a matter of urgency so that Spambots cannot harvest your email and potentially deluge you with spam. If you are not receiving the email to allow you to reset your password I think you need to email affinity@serif.com and request their assistance.
  13. @itsvivekdesign As I understand this, I don't think that the developers can bring in what you are wanting because there are features within PSD Smart Objects that are proprietary to Photoshop, i.e., they are "locked" to that app. I suspect that, if they could do what you are asking, the developers might have done so already. Of course, I may be totally wrong about this!
  14. @Black Diosa As @Alfred says, the MS Store version does not need a product key! However, since you say you have the program installed but apparently cannot run it, I wonder whether you have actually installed the Trial version from the Serif/Affinity website but later bought it in the Microsoft store? If so, you need to uninstall the version you currently have and then download and install the version in your Microsoft Store account, as @Alfred details above.
  15. @CPL Welcome to the Affinity forums. Affinity app licences are OS-specific. MAC, i-Pad and Windows all have separate licences. So, in your case, you would need one licence for Windows and one for MAC. However, once purchased you are allowed to install the software on as many devices of the same OS as you own or control. HTH Jeff
  16. @Chills I have MS Publisher currently installed (though never used) as part of MS Office. Checking it, I see the option to Export as pdf. Could your originators of these files use this option to help you? Worst case scenario, perhaps: assuming not too many files and that you would be prepared to share them (or a couple of them) with me I'd be happy to try opening them and then exporting as pdf for you to test, if that would be helpful. PM me from the forum if you're interested. Jeff
  17. @ClayCreek welcome to the Affinity forums. This post asks the same question so you will find the answer there. HTH Jeff
  18. Then I think there is something, other than Affinity apps, on your computer that is making these changes, sorry! I have all the apps running under Win 10 and do not see such changes happening.
  19. @Kumar 2710 Welcome to the Affinity forums. Purchase of any of the Affinity apps is a one-off payment, no subscription, monthly or otherwise. That single payment will give you access to ALL the updates to that version (currently all the apps are at version 1 so all updates to version 1 are "free"). Only when and if Serif decide to release "version 2" will any additional payment be required and there is nothing to prevent a user of version 1 deciding to NOT upgrade to version 2 and so pay nothing further. HTH Jeff
  20. I have previously heard McAfee AV described as a virus! Speaking personally, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. When I had to buy a new laptop about 18 months ago, almost the first thing I did to it was to use McAfee's own software removal tool to completely remove ALL traces of it! Jeff
  21. @ms.fuentecilla What is the source of those files (what program was used to create them) and how, exactly, are you opening them in APub? I have pdf music files exported from Sibelius which, if I simply use File>Open in APub, everything seems to be enclosed in annoying text boxes; if I use File>Place everything seems to be imported without problem. You describe what you see as "gibberish". Do you mean notation (and text, if used) are both completely scrambled and unreadable? What do you mean by "enlarged prints"? Is it that you want, e.g., one current "page" to be spread over two pages? If so, I think that might be "more difficult"!! Jeff
  22. @Kimotei Welcome to the Affinity forums. Does your Win 7 machine meet the minimum requirements listed on, e.g., this Designer page? However, since you mention you need to continue to run 32 bit plugins in your music projects, are you aware of jBridge? It is a very useful app to allow 32 bit VSTs etc., to run in a 64 bit environment, and vice versa. I use it with both Reaper and Adobe Audition, both 64 bit, and can still access and use older 32 bit VSTs and VSTis. HTH Jeff
  23. @Ferdomi Welcome to the Affinity forums. The answer to your question is: Yes. Jeff
  24. @Patmeyer In my opinion (and assuming you have, or intend to have in the future, the need for its features), YES! Jeff
