Affinity Publisher Public Free Beta Available NOW

Thanks Guys. ...on first tryout it looks like your efforts and the long wait has been well worth it.
  3. Hi I was just wondering why whenever I launch Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer there is a request to make a connection to: s3-1.amazonaws.com ?
  4. An excellent summation. And with the looming release of High Sierra there is now a real need for A Publisher.
  5. High Sierra could be the big game changer. We really need Publisher soon. No pressure then.
  6. By the by is anyone still using PageMaker?
  7. Page Plus is for Windows, not for Macs. Publisher will be ready when it's ready. Stay calm and keep the faith.
  8. SOLVED! Hi MEB You were correct there was a blockage. My error, a connection was blocked by Little Snitch. Thanks for the rethink Stephen
  9. Hi Yes... I've restarted, reset, signed out, signed in to no avail. I spent ages chatting to Apple geniuses. I updated Sierra on November 24 with no probs. I'll try your method. Stephen

    Can't download Photo update

Same problem Updates showing as available but will not update Apple geniuses say there could be a compatibility problem with Sierra 10.12.1
  11. Hi I spent most of yesterday afternoon trying to download the latest AD and AP updates from the App Store. The App Store says the updates are available but when I try to update I just get the grey spinning wheel in the top left corner of the panel. The only reason the Apple geniuses could give, after endless chat, was that the updates are not compatible with my machine. I am on an iMac running Sierra 10.12.1. Any clues? Stephen
