@Iztok Thanks for providing a crash report. From taking a look the issue seems to have occurred while the app was trying to access or monitor linked files—such as images or documents placed in your project. Have the files been moved, renamed or deleted from where they are linked from? Are they stored on local, external or cloud storage? You could try duplicating your file and then remove the linked resources and see if this reduces the crashes.

Panoramas cannot be saved to a file and editied/rendered later
Lee D replied to Xcissors's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
This is working as expected. Any adjustments to the image alignment need to take place before clicking Apply to create the final render. Even selecting Save while at this stage (Windows only) needs a final render is done so the save can take place. It's worth posting in the Feedback section for the developers to perhaps add a non-destructive option to this workflow. -
Hi @juliebentex Thanks for your feedback, I've logged this with our developers to look into further.

@Freddie360 Can you provide a screenshot of how your images are appearing for you? -
affinity无法在ipad外接的显示屏上使用
Lee D replied to blackspace's topic in Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products
@blackspace 感谢您的反馈,我们确实遇到了一些关于在 iPad 上连接外接屏幕的问题,并已向开发者反馈。 您也可以尝试在应用的“设置”>“通用”中禁用“在外接显示器上显示”。 -
@jeyelle Can you follow the steps below to check for the Log.txt file, this may help in narrowing down why Photo isn't opening for you. Once copied to your desktop, please upload here. For EXE/MSI: Open File Explorer and paste this into the address bar: %appdata%\affinity\photo\2.0 Copy the log.txt file to your desktop For the MSIX: Open Windows Run and paste this into the address bar: %userprofile%\.affinity\photo\2.0 Copy the log.txt file to your desktop Out of interest when you did the CTRL run up did you also try selecting the option to Disable Hardware Acceleration as well?

@SohailThank you for your detailed feedback, We’re aware of some issues with on-screen rendering and how mipmaps are handled, and these are logged with our developers to investigate further. In some cases, turning Hardware Acceleration on or off can help reduce the issue, though it doesn’t work for everyone or on all systems as you've found.

Replacing text in hyperlinked text box removes hyperlink
Lee D replied to astral's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
HI @astral Welcome to the forums. While it’s not considered a bug, it’s a good suggestion for improving the current process. We’d recommend posting it in the Feedback & Suggestions section of the forum so our developers can take a look. -
@Arge1Welcome to the forums. Does this happen regardless of what you're printing from our apps or is it with a particular file? Are you on Mac or Windows? Even though you don't have an issue with other apps, have you tried refreshing your printer drivers, just in case?

@David DEC Welcome to the forum.

Dokumentinfos in Designer fehlen
Lee D replied to Michael Piontek's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
Export Persona, make item visible in export, UI broken
Lee D replied to NotMyFault's topic in V2 Bugs found on iPad
@NotMyFault Sorry for the delay. We have most of these logged with our developers and I've updated them to include your report. In some cases, layers within the Export persona can be selected and moved around, curves layers can also be selected and edited using the Node Tool. However I don't believe this should be possible so I'm also logging that with the developers as well. -
@Mads Hansen When working with multiple embedded .afdesign files that each contain multiple artboards, it’s not currently possible to switch all selected files to a different artboard at once within the app, they will need to be done individually. However, there’s a workaround that may help for future files of a similar layout but involves a different workflow. You can start by creating a symbol from the first embedded .afdesign file you add to your document. Once you’ve done that, use this symbol to insert additional instances into your file. If you select one of these symbol instances and expand its layers, you’ll be able to change the artboard for that instance. When you do, all other instances of that symbol will automatically update to use the same artboard, keeping everything in sync.

Hi @OliviaPorter Welcome to the forums. I can DM you a link to upload your file to so I can take a look. However depending on the type of corruption, there's a chance it may not be able to be recovered. Does the crash happen with just one specific file and export format, or does it happen no matter what file or format you use? Are you also exporting to a local location and does your local HDD have plenty of free space? One more thing to check: open the app’s settings by going to Edit > Settings > Performance. Look for an option called Hardware Acceleration. If it’s turned on, try turning it off, then restart the app to see if that helps in anyway with the exporting issue. Also, the app might have created a crash report. If you can find and upload that, it could give us clues about what’s going wrong.

Publisher – wrong trimbox dimensions
Lee D replied to petrchutny's topic in Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
@petrchutny We have an issue logged with our developers regarding PDF export sizes needing to be exact. You can try the following to see if this helps as a workaround for the moment. Open Document Setup panel, change the Document unit to 'pixels', adjust the dimension size by removing any decimal pixels. Then change back to the unit you prefer and export to PDF. -
@big smileI've passed the PDF file over to our developers to investigate further.

‘Touch for Gestures Only’ option also disables mouse
Lee D replied to Enami's topic in V2 Bugs found on iPad
@Enami Thanks for your report. The issue is logged with our developers and I've updated it to include your report. -
@archinerd7 I've bumped the report with our developers as it may relate to how iPadOS is associating .DWG and .DXF files.
