  1. Possibly.... File > New Stack using your images Ungroup the stack Position each layer (image) centrally Crop (1:1 ratio ) entire document when done
  2. Black Friday is coming If you can wait, Serif, has in the past, had discounts for that period of time
  3. The Text Frame panel is only in Publisher. Do you have the Publisher app? If yes, you can find it under... Window > Text > Text Frame
  4. Once AI is mainstream you will no longer be needed To survive you need to ensure your skills cannot be replicated by an AI
  5. I only have Word 2 on my PC but "yes" it can paste table data 1. It can paste the table as a text frame 2. It can paste the table data into a Table object created in publisher Formatting of cells (colours, borders) etc may not be exact but that depends on how complex your tables are so you may have to add some formatting afterwards As advised if you provide a sample table, we can see what Publisher can do automatically or try the trial (30 day) version
  6. The object you are copying from will either have the option "Scale with Object" on or off in the FX dialog Try the copy using both settings and you should get the result you need either way (V2)
  7. Layer > Find in Layers Panel (CTRL+K) After opening the document, should expand the layer structure with the last object selected still selected Not sure why you only get the Group selected. I can't reproduce that but it may be due to my simplified document to test this. If no one else can reproduce it we may need a cut-down version of your document (that still shows the issue) to see what could be causing it
  8. From the help file Force pressure—Click to control brush size with pressure if using a pressure-sensitive device. This overrides brush defaults. Reset only resets the settings whilst you are still editing them. Once you commit the changes reset will not bring back the original settings for a brush Always best to save the new settings as a new brush. If you overwrite the original brush's settings you may need to reload the brush pack to restore them to how they were when first installed
  9. Not all AD documents have artboards, so it's best to have a consistent setting for those that do and those that don't Likewise for consistency between all the 3 Affinity apps
  10. They have but you need to be able to read Japanese https://realsound.jp/tech/2023/09/post-1446012_2.html
  11. We need more information from Serif as to what these ~backup~ files are. E.g. When they are created? (network only drives or all drives?) How they work?
  12. We can't see Georgie anymore! Mum and Dad need moving more to the right to open up the scene again It's no longer obvious what they are looking at
  13. Procedural Texture Filter, maybe? But you will need to be a bit more specific of what you are trying to do
  14. After you do the crop, do... Layer > Rasterise & Trim Then do the Resize Canvas
  15. If Preflight is active and set up correctly, it should give you a warning when you try to export the file when there is overflow text
  16. You do not always need to add new visible light sources to an image A light source can be inferred to be coming from somewhere outside the boundaries of your image/composition Like an additional light in the driveway, a street light, car lights etc Your new image clearly shows there is a strong light on the man but we don't see the light source, that in no way makes that particular image look wrong. Our brains can simply determine there is a light source that is not in the image Do not worry unduly about getting all light sources within the bounds of your image, if it looks plausible then go with it. Our brains will fill in the gaps
  17. In the hamburger menu on the Layers Panel switch off the Auto Scroll option You can also use Layer > Collapse All in Layers Panel to do that
  18. There is setting in Edit > Settings > Tools That you can change to change the default behaviour It's called... Move Tool Aspect Constrain
  19. Strange I'll have to look into it further to find out why it is working in the test document I am using and get back to you Another way.... 1. Select > Object > Tables 2. Use find to find any character which is likely to be in the table (e.g. a vowel or space character) Important: Make sure Scope: is set to Selection in the find dialog (This is a new option in 2.2.?) Page with table will now have focus
  20. Works here Are you MAC or Windows? If Windows, can you upload a document where it does not work I dont have Mac here to test it on
  21. 1. Select > Object > Tables 2. Use any of the transform commands in Layer > Transform.... Page with table will now have focus 3. Remember to undo (CTRL+Z) the transformation
  22. That's sounds like a different issue to the one I initially commentated on and fortunately for me my work does not involve me having to worry about DPI Hopefully, someone else can address that particular issue for you
