  1. Hi siapec, Could you demonstrate this with one of the brushes supplied with the software (such as the "acrylics" set of brushes. Could you also list your full computer specs including OS, CPU, RAM and GPU. Lee
  2. Hi evtonic3, This is a known issue and will hopefully be resolved soon. Lee
  3. Hi Girlvsworld, Are these files located on the local storage or in a cloud synced location? If they are cloud based, then it's possible they are not physically present on the device when selected. Please could you try this in a local folder in the "On My iPad" section of the files app. Lee
  4. Hi roboto35126, This is by design in V2, I've moved this to feedback for your suggestion of a toggle for this behaviour. Lee
  5. Hi boberto, Though by design, it may be worth a suggestion for a toggle to enable visibility outside of the canvas. Lee
  6. Hi Zafizack, I'm unable to recreate this, does this persist after closing the software fully and a full system reboot? Lee
  7. @spidermurph Unfortunately this crash report does not reveal any useful information. Could you please try uninstalling and try installing the MSI version if you have installed the MSIX, or vice versa. You could also try the following: Lee
  8. Hi @HuwR, @NotMyFault posted an excellent explanation of pixel alignment that may help you. Lee
  9. Hi @6ixteen, This file cannot be opened correctly on the current release of Photoshop either, so I can only assume this is a bad file. Lee
  10. Hi DMeis, I think you are referring to the Apple Files application rather than iCloud (as this has iCloud and other cloud service functionality inside of it). You are free to move and save your files to a location of your own choosing to help keep things organised. Lee
  11. Hi uvanduinen, Could you please give us some details on the following: your OS version Your Affinity Publisher version (visible in Affinity Publisher > My Account) Where the files were stored (internal drive, synced on iCloud or other cloud service, external drive or network drive) Lee
  12. Hi k_au, This has been confirmed as by design. (This is because a child and parent cannot be selected at the same time). Lee
  13. Hi TheSnooze, If you move that window to your main screen then fully close the app normally (not force quitting), where does it show on next launch? Lee
  14. Hi Varesha, This is a known issue and we hope to resolve it soon. Lee
  15. Which Application is showing you this dialogue? (this should be visible if you click that window and look at the top left corner of your screen). Lee
  16. Hi @Jakub Trybowski, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. This took a bit of time to investigate over many machines. As there are many variables to this kind of problem it can be tricky to recreate. Have you changed your monitor colour profile at all in the past, or the Affinity Colour settings in Settings > Colour ? We've noticed that enabling and disabling legacy display ICC colour management can alter this behaviour too this can be done in the compatibility options (right click > properties) on your application, either where you installed it for MSI/ EXE or from this location for MSIX : We have a spotlight article on how our colour management works that might help you troubleshoot your own systems configuration to ensure consistency across apps. https://affinityspotlight.com/article/display-colour-management-in-the-affinity-apps/ We also have these threads on our forum that have some suggestions and could be worth a read. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/120361-colors-displaying-incorrectly-when-using-color-profile/ https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/32048-overly-saturated-colors-on-screen/
  17. Hi Gianni Becattini, If you open Publisher first and then try to load the file from file > open, does this work? Lee
  18. Hi TJH Art Studio, Could you please upload your document here so we can take a look at this. https://www.dropbox.com/request/CDVX6xmDBquKtM0Z6B1y Lee
  19. Hi Gianni Becattini, Could you please send the documents to this location for us to test with? https://www.dropbox.com/request/RKOwNhEgqLiVsxxvQUu4 (private link). It may be worth trying to disable hardware acceleration in Affinity Publisher > Settings > Peformance, additionally if you could send us any crash logs the application has recorded using the following guide, that would be most helpful. Lee
  20. Hi Hollyer97, Could you please post a crash report by following this guide? Lee
  21. Hi Yaoif, There's a few methods to achieve this, firstly you can select the curve and create two nodes where you wish to cut, then break the curve at both nodes and then remove the nodes. Another method that's more precise Create a shape to cut the object with and position it where you wish to cut. Select both objects Hold alt and click the circle (it will become a darker outline to indicate its a Key Object) Use Layer > Geometry > Cut Curves with Key Object Your open curve is now cut into three pieces, allowing you to remove the inner part. If you want the remaining two parts as a single object you can then go to Layer > Geometry > Merge Curves Lee
  22. Hi Polla, Could you please try holding control whilst booting the application and hitting "clear" on the screen that follows. Lee
  23. Hi monocultured, Many people use Affinity software for general product mockups, you may find the first video below helpful using the warp tools available to you. Of course it suits the project if the blank template is an image. If you have a 3D model of the product, then you may find it easier to texture the product in Blender. The s second video (second half) shows a great method for displacing the design to a t-shirt. You could create macros for a good portion of the process if required. Lee General mockups: Displacement:
