giorgosk Posted October 12, 2019 Author Share Posted October 12, 2019 the same is happening for other files too.. sorry for the big size of the file, but thats another problem with affinity photo. a background layer,3 live filters and the size gets high to 290MB!! Unfortunately, I see the error message "Unsupported file type" when attempting to open it in both the latest release and latest Beta of APh. Hopefully, one of the Serif team will see this thread, download your file and perhaps offer you a solution. giorgosk Posted October 14, 2019 Author Share Posted October 14, 2019 i have performed a e2fsck -c on the hdd and it did not report any bad blocks. so i guess there is something wrong with affinity photo. i was trying to reduce the size of some of my .afphoto files. Opened the file -> deleted any snapshots and not visible layers -> saved the file again and then in some files the above error was shown after trying to reopen the saved file hope that helps :-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
