Staff Dan C Posted September 13, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 13, 2019 Hi zommy 12 hours ago, zommy said: I try to download the new beta designer 1.7.2 We're not currently running a beta of Designer - version 1.7.2 is the latest 'live' version. Could you please confirm why you're running a beta version? Have you updated your retail version to 1.7.2? Please try your retail version of Designer in 1.7.2 and let me know if you're still having issues. Staff Dan C Posted September 13, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 13, 2019 Thanks for confirming that, the beta and retail versions run parallel to one another, so your beta installation shouldn't affect your retail version. 17 hours ago, zommy said: I cannot change mt crosshair brush to regular circle Could you please provide a screenshot of the brush preview you're seeing? What settings do you have set under Preferences>User Interface? 17 hours ago, zommy said: ALSO, my brush who is a crosshair don't paint the size I put it ,(ex. dutchshader
from the screenshot it looks like you have a very large document, zoom is 6% and you might want to turn on the brush context toolbar view>show context toolbar Quote intel core i5, 16GB 128Gb ssd win10 Pro Huion new 1060plus. philips 272p 2560x1440px on intel HD2500 onboard graphics Razer Tartarus Chroma

thomaso
The crosshair cursor in small brush sizes is kind of an UI support to make the cursor position of a small brush recognizable more easy or at all. Imagine you have a brush with 1 px width and look at your artboard in 10% zoom –> in that case the brush size would be 0,1 px, hardly visible at all. Therefore the cursor of small brushes varies with zoom level: if you zoom in, the crosshair switches to a brush preview as soon its size is more than just a dot or a few pixels on screen.
