Affinity Photo crashes on Mac

Recommended Posts

If Photo is crashing during opening, follow the steps below to retrieve a crash report from macOS.

Please go to Applications > Utilities and open the Console app. Crash Reports from our apps can be found in the User Reports section. You can Right Click the required Crash Report and select Reveal in Finder.

You can also uninstall the app from macOS and reboot, login to the store you purchased from and download and install again to see if this resolves the issue.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I've found the report, but it makes no sense to me. I've attached it below. I hope I'm not jeopardizing my Mac's safety by doing this? As it might take some time before I receive a reply from you on this report, I've decided to try and reinstall in the meanwhile. In case that doesn't solve the issue it would be much appreciated if you can help me on the basis of the crash report.

Unfortunately, you have not attached the crash report to your post, just a zero byte file with no content.

Perhaps you are forgetting about file system metadata? :P:P:P
