Canyons Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Has been excellent until I took the latest upgrade yesterday. Now it opens as a blank page, just the outer border with no actions around the side. Very frustrating as in middle of a project. Quote
carl123 Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 First, try pressing the TAB key. If no success upload a screenshot of what you are seeing Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. Canyons Posted September 6, 2019 Author Posted September 6, 2019 This is what I see when I open it up. Can't find anyway to make actions appear round the edge. Quote
carl123 Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 MACs are different to Wiindows PCs. Does that screenshot show you are in separated mode? If so switch it off and try the TAB key again or View > Toggle UI Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Canyons Posted September 7, 2019 Author Posted September 7, 2019 Thanks for ideas. Tried both and has no effect. Quote
carl123 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 I don't have a MAC so not sure what else could affect it on that platform You could try resetting the program by... "You can reset your app back to its default settings by holding down the CTRL key while launching the app. When the Clear User Data window appears, click Select All and then Clear" Bear in mind this will delete any custom settings you may have made and delete things like custom brushes and assets you mave have added. If this will affect you, you should back these up first Alternatively, you can wait and see if any MAC user (or support personnel) has any additional actions you can try Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Could you look at your menu bar, then select VIEW>STUDIO> and see whether there are checkmarks beside Show Tools, Show Toolbar, Show Context Tool Bar (I think - I am on my iPad right now) and then click on Reset Studio. Hopefully that should populate your canvas again. carl123 1 Quote 24" iMAC Apple M1 chip, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16 GB unified memory, 1 TB SSD storage, Ventura 13.7.6. Staff Sean P Posted September 10, 2019 Staff Posted September 10, 2019 Hi Canyons, Do you have Windows > Separated Mode ticked? If so, untick that and that should group everything back together. If you're still having issues then try the following Ensure View > Studio > Show Left Studio and Show Right Studio are ticked Try View > Studio > Reset Studio As jmwellborn has mentioned ensure View > Show Tools, Show Toolbar and Show Context Toolbar are enabled. It sounds as though you may have used the Tab key to Toggle the UI off and then closed the program like that. There is a known issue that this was causing it to not toggle back when relaunched. Quote
