craiigman
I am trying to create a petal shape to create a flower. I used the diamond tool, converted to curves, I then used the curve tool to make the shape. However when I scale the shape, it goes very out of shape, see attachments. Work around I have at the moment is to use the pen tool and go around the shape and create it that way, but that seems a long way and I can’t be sure it’s now perfect. Im wondering if there is an option I should be ticking or something?
Aammppaa
Looks like you are using the Corner Tool. You need to bake the corners (or simply convert to curves again) before you scale the shape. I want the bottom to match up with the shape below but i cant seem to align them all properly when done individually
Paul Mudditt
@craiigmanSelect the group, grab the corner to adjust the size, place two other fingers as modifiers then drag the corner again. Have you tried using symbols, a different symbol for each set of petals. Then you can adjust and move them in and out to retain symmetry. Meant to mention that, best thing I ever asked them to do, implement the desktop shortcuts. I have a belkin Smart Keyboard, ^J is duplicate and comes into its own with power duplicate.
