Iby Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Please please please make a better resample method for image resizing. Something much better than Bicubic/Bilinear or like photoshop's Preserve details 2.0. I really like Photoshop's Preserve detail 2.0 and I don't really like the Bicubic/Bilinear method but I know affinity can make it even better! Quote
John Rostron Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Are you upsizing or downsizing? Have you tried the .Lanczos algorithms? Archangel Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Or maybe implement fractal zoom style or spline based zoom technology as an extra persona? drdancm Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 If you want the best resizer, upscaler you have to try AI Gigaplix from Topaz Labs, and you can try the fully functional Trial version. https://topazlabs.com/gigapixel-ai/ Quote
John Rostron Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 I have tries GigaPixel and also BenVista PhotoZoom. Gigapixel does a better job than PhotoZoom, but is much more expensive. I am sticking with PhotoZoom for now. John Quote Windows 11, Affinity Photo 2.4.2 Designer 2.4.2 and Publisher 2.4.2 (mainly Photo). CPU: Intel Core i5 8500 @ 3.00GHz.
