Moving a selection

In Pixel persona how do I reposition a selection Ellipse marquee?

You should be able to move the cursor inside the selection and the cursor will change to a 4 arrow cursor  just click and drag.

Use the Transform Panel to scale it.

OK but wouldn't it have been easier to add resizing handles as with other objects? Dragging is a very useful way to visually resize an object.

Try beginning with a shape drawn with the Ellipse Tool, adjust it to suit and then convert it to a selection:

With the marquee active you could click on/create an empty pixel layer and use the move tool to resize and move as usual. When you have it right just reselect the intended target layer.

Yes, Pixel Persona could perhaps use a quick mask feature (how this is done in Photo), but this is the same number of clicks (basically).
