Is there a hotkey for 'Protect Alpha' aka 'Preserve Transparency'???

Recommended Posts

In Photoshop you can preserve transparency for a layer using the hotkey '/'.

There's a similar function in the brush tool setting called 'Protect Alpha', is there a hotkey for that?? Or ways to assign a hotkey to that??
Ideally this setting should be in the layers too

It's been a while, but I'd like to resurrect this topic and ask for an update.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for Protect Alpha yet? :) If not I would also like to put in another vote for its addition. I turn it on and off all the time and a shortcut for it is definitely one of the top things on my wish list.

This is the Questions forum. Voting here is meaningless, as the planners do not look here for improvement requests. They look in the Feature Requests and Suggestions forum. If you'd like to see this implemented, you should find a topic over there asking for it, or create one of your own if no one else has already.
