Pšenda Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Currently, Affinity Suite applications are added directly to the Start menu. Personally, I prefer better organization by group, so I created a subgroup for Affinity Suite. Which might be of interest to some users as an option when installing applications. mrtymcln Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 I don't meant to be rude, but why would anyone want this? More clicks just to open an app (that should already be on your dock/taskbar). Pšenda 1 Quote

And of course, there is no problem in them pinning the application to the start screen, desktop, or directly to taskbar as needed. But this has nothing to do with the list of applications, which is long and therefore confusing without organizing into groups. Przemysław Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Some people use only one of applications and then having a group wouldn't make sense. You can always group apps in start menu yourself. Quote W11, Dell G5, i7, 64GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2600, Wacom Intuos Pro M + iPad Pro 2018. sakrajda.eu

And yet, most installations choose whether to place a application link to the desktop, to the Start menu, or directly to the taskbar. It is just about the application's maturity and its installation, to make the installation as easy as possible for users, who then don't have to do everything "yourself" (maybe some of them can't even do it).
