1.7.0 there are still german UI layout glitches

I'm sure those german UI related parts have been reported before, at least I recall to have seen those things mentioned in the Publisher beta localisation thread. - However, looks like they don't have been addressed for the shared UI base of Photo and Designer 1.7.0 release here.

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (1. Default system palettes are not being translated to other languages & 2. Zoom Tool UI glitches: arrow in the zoom tool input filed truncated and text misplaced while being edited (context toolbar)) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below.

The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts.

• Affinity Photo 1.8.0.555 for Windows
• Affinity Photo 1.8.0.165 for Mac
• Affinity Designer 1.8.0.555 for Windows
• Affinity Designer 1.8.0.2 for Mac
• Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.556 for Windows
• Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.556 for Mac

These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version.

Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.0 update/patch to all customers.

The third issue reported in this thread (German UI - Stroke flyout - text overlapping icons) has been bumped with the developers, but not yet addressed

The issue "German UI - Stroke flyout - text overlapping icons" (REF: AFP-2551) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.0.1857".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
