TomTospace Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) Ligatures result in single letter when exporting to pdf. "offen" results in "ofen". Font: Open Sans. Arial Edited June 7, 2019 by LukeTospace
Joachim_L Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 ?Not for me? Could you provide Publisher document and font? TomTospace 1 ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
TomTospace Posted June 7, 2019 Author Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) ligatures_ff_bug .pdf igatures_ff_bug.afpub Sorry, it was Alrial, not Open Sans. Might be an issue with my local version of the font. Edited June 7, 2019 by LukeTospace added afpub
Alfred Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I’m seeing a space rather than a single ’f’ in your PDF, but you’ve used ‘Affinity’ as your test string. Please try again with another test string that doesn’t have an ‘i’ after the ‘ff’. Joachim_L Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Font damaged? Acrobat X Pro shows no Arial font at all, Acrobat Reader DC shows a square and Foxit shows an empty space. TomTospace Posted June 7, 2019 Author Posted June 7, 2019 Adobe Reader Edge Firefox. Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be, If it showed differently for everyone here. Anyway, since it only happens in one font as far as I know, I can live with it. Maybe someone who gets paid for it could try to replicate the bug with the apub file.
Staff Gabe Posted June 14, 2019 Staff Posted June 14, 2019 Hi @LukeTospace, I can only blame it on a broken font, as I cannot replicate it. It works fine with the afpub file provided Thanks, Gabe. TomTospace 1
