Ligatures result in single letter when exporting to pdf.  "offen" results in "ofen".

Font: Open Sans. Arial

?Not for me? Could you provide Publisher document and font?

I’m seeing a space rather than a single ’f’ in your PDF, but you’ve used ‘Affinity’ as your test string. Please try again with another test string that doesn’t have an ‘i’ after the ‘ff’.

Font damaged? Acrobat X Pro shows no Arial font at all, Acrobat Reader DC shows a square and Foxit shows an empty space.

Strange things did happen here,
no stranger would it be,
If it showed differently
for everyone here.

Anyway, since it only happens in one font as far as I know, I can live with it.
Maybe someone who gets paid for it could try to replicate the bug with the apub file.
