Jeremy Bohn Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 When assigning keyboard shortcuts to text styles, Publisher should know the difference between the main keyboard numbers (those in the top row above the letters) and keypad numbers (those with extended keyboards with the numbers on the right). Both QuarkXPress and InDesign do this so you can assign a keyboard command using the keypad 1 which doesn't override the shortcut using the top row 1 (which is to set the view to 100%). This then opens the possibility for more easily accessible shortcuts. Technically this would be a benefit for the whole app shortcuts, but specifically the app should keep the keypad numbers for text style shortcuts. 000 and garrettm30 2 Quote
garrettm30 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Thank you for this suggestion. I do use keypad numbers for style shortcuts in InDesign, and I would be glad for Affinity apps to recognize the difference. Quote
Jeremy Bohn Posted June 3, 2019 Author Posted June 3, 2019 You're welcome! It's a little thing but it really helps. As of now, you're really limited on what you can use for style shortcuts. dominik 1 Quote
