Beta 128 Procedural Filter actions

Recommended Posts

When initiated the context menu list is blank.

Not at all sure what most of these are meant to do. Most simply change the image to black and white ripples. Is this expected behaviour?

That's an improvement from the last build or two as there was nothing present at all! I'll get the developers to look.

You can combine them with Blend Modes and other layers to achieve different results. Procedural Texture on the iPad will not be as comprehensive as it is on the desktop versions for now.

Thanks DM1 :)

@Chris B unfortunately the blend modes don't appear to have any effect yet. :(

@Chris B the RGB presets are there but the menu line is empty until opened. Once tapped the drop down list becomes visible. Selecting any of the block or wave effects covers up the image completely. Changing blend mode has no effect on these.

Duplicate the image, apply a Procedural Texture to it and then change the Blend Mode. Sorry I should have made that clear initially.

Right, I see what you mean about the empty preset. I guess it's because we aren't initially applying anything until you browse the presets, which is the same as how the desktop handles it. What is a bit odd is that we can't get back to an empty preset to 'remove it'. One has to delete it entirely.

@Chris B I see one issue with the filter. After assigning a Blend Mode the image. Changes but if I open the blend menu list and scroll through the modes, nothing changes again until I tap to close the menu. Normal behaviour should allow me to scroll through the list and see the effects of each,, find one I like and tap to select/close the list.

@Chris B Issue also applies to Opacity slider. Have to release it to see changes.
