Option to save a copy .afdesign file to Dropbox disappeared

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have trouble saving a copy of my affinity designer file (.afdesign) into Dropbox as the Dropbox icon has disappeared overnight. I was able to do it before but this morning, the icon doesn't show. I can export share into Dropbox though but as a jpeg, pdf, tiff etc. Anybody encountered this problem? Any solutions? Thanks in advance.

Try going into Files app, select Edit, turn off Dropbox then turn it back on. Make sure you can access Dropbox via Files app, then try Affinity again.

Can you access Dropbox via the Files app? If not you may need to religion to Dropbox. Affinity accesses these cloud services via iOS Files app, so if that doesn't work it is nothing to do with Affinity Photo/Design.

btw, what do you mean by “religion to Dropbox”?

Sorry, iPad word replacement in action! What I originally typed was re-login to Dropbox.(using the Dropbox app).

Exporting to Dropbox or Google Drive doesn’t work on Export Persona. Has it always been this way?

I think this was a bug introduced in the 1.7 release. It works local to iPad and to iCloud so I suspect Affinity haven’t given it a high priority. That said, bug fixes are well overdue!
