designer and photo windows app wont launch

I recently uninstalled the affinity publisher beta and now my designer and photo windows apps wont launch. I have already tried uninstalling both and reinstalling them from the microsoft store. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum mikeZ :)

When you try and run the apps do you recieve any messages or does nothing happen? You could try resetting the app back to its defaults to see if it launches correctly. To do this hold down the CTRL key while launching the app. When the Clear User Data window appears, click Select All and then Clear. Please note, resetting your app back to its default settings will lose any custom settings.

Hi, 

I've tried holding the CTRL key, nothing happens. When I run the app, there is no message. Nothing happens. I'm wondering if it's because publisher was a program not installed through the MS Store that affected Designer and Photo that was installed through the store.

Are you pressing & holding down the CTRL key before attempting to start the app, & continuing to hold that key down when trying to start it?
